ka-boom

SecurityCheck got put through it’s paces today, and to be honest it failed pretty miserably. I was able to get it working with some elbow grease and swearing but I’m really disappointed that it didn’t work right out of the gate.

Mike came up with a good idea for solving our “SINC in CVS uses GROUPS for auth” problem, so hopefully tomorrow after all my tests I can implement that. It was an idea I kicked around a little while ago but then forgot about when more pressing stuff came up. That happens entirely too much lately.

I’ve got some improvements that I want to make in some of our older shared classes as well. More and more I’m finding that the first couple of shared classes that we completed can no longer be considered “up to snuff” when compared with our latest work. They’re starting to show their age, and considering the massive amount of use they get the speed increases and improved readability will be good as well.
