Surveys
Finishing delayed Surveys rewrite. I’m considering a new interface idea that would be more space-efficient than the old one, at the cost of more clicking to edit questions. The gist of it is that instead of showing the question editing form by default, you’d be shown the survey’s preview. Mousing over and clicking on a question would make the question transform into the editing interface that I’ve already designed. I like the editing interface, but it’s a little tall. Only about 4 questions can fit onto the screen at 1280×1024, so it’s pretty obviously too tall.
- Modify display to consolidate functionality and save space.
- Research more efficient Flickr-Style click to edit stuff.
- Actual saving of changes.
- Updated form submit handling code, it’s pretty ugly right now.
- Come up with a priority list for old features with the boss, figure out what can be dropped.
That’s a pretty short list, I have a feeling it isn’t quite as all-encompassing as it should be…
